Law Enforcement Requests
Law enforcement agencies may request information from Phobits for legitimate needs to protect those in harm. Phobits cooperates with law enforcement agencies when a legitimate and necessary reason is presented, such as when a child is in danger. Phobits takes privacy seriously, and we safeguard the personal information of our subscribers.
Urgent Law Enforcement Requests
Urgent requests to prevent harm to persons should be made via email to
Please provide your full name, law enforcement agency, and a phone number for Phobits to immediately return a call to gather more information about your request. The email address reaches the Global Safety Center, and all urgent requests are answered immediately.
Note: Impersonating a law enforcement officer is a crime, and Phobits will seek prosecution for any impersonation.
Court Orders
Phobits honors court orders for information, and a law enforcement request as described below is the proper means to address court orders.
Requests for routine investigation information denied
Requests for routine investigation information about our subscribers will not be honored by Phobits. We protect the privacy of our subscribers.
Making a Request to Phobits
You may make a law enforcement requests to Phobits using one of the methods described in the Request Methods section below. Please read the required information in the next section and be sure to include the required information when making your request.
Required Information
You must provide at least the following information when making a law enforcement request. Phobits will verify all contact information and requester's identity before providing any information. Failure to provide the required will impede the request.
- Requesting officer's or employee's full name
- Email Address
- Phone number
- Agency name
- Agency mailing address
- Agency main phone number
Request Methods
Law enforcement agencies may make their requests using one of the following two methods.

In-Person Requests
Law enforcement agencies may appear in person or request a local Sheriff's office to appear. For the Phobits physical address and hours of operation information, or for information about the local Sheriff's office, please email
Please provide in the email any information you would like to share that describes the information that you need or the nature of your visit to help us prepare for your visit. If you are presenting a court order, please attach a scanned copy or photo of the order to the email, if possible, so that we may expedite your request upon your arrival.

Postal Mail
Law enforcement officers may make requests for information via certified postal mail by sending the required information. Warrants or court orders that are served via postal mail are accepted. You may use tracking and/or signature required if you wish as Phobits will gladly sign for postal mail. Phobits verifies all requests as coming from legitimate law enforcement agencies and makes criminal reports for impersonation.
