Values at Phobits

Child Safety

Children are especially vulnerable on the Internet because they lack the knowledge, wisdom, and resources to protect themselves. Phobits works diligently to protect children from harm when using our services.

Child Education

We are working on programs to provide education to children, to teach them how to be safe on the Internet. While the dangers to children are real, the desire is not to scare children but to show them how to be safe and comfortable using the Internet. Through program Phobits is establishing, children of all ages learn the things they should do and not do to stay safe on the Internet.

Incident Reporting

Phobits participates with law enforcement for reports of child abuse, neglect, and exploitation. Children are easily hurt by the those that use them in unlawful ways, by themselves when they expose inappropriate content, or by simply providing child predators the information they desire. Phobits is an active participant in tracking down criminals that harm children.

Account Management

Phobits also provides parents, teachers, law enforcement, and anyone who has the responsibility to protect children the means to engage Phobits to do so. We can immediately block harmful content that contains unlawful content of children, and we can help parents control the content their children upload to Phobits.

Online Safety

Please see our Online Safety page for more information about how Phobits provides account and content controls to protect children. There you will find resources and actions that you can take to help report issues concerning child safety.
